Opt In List Building.

Why Build a List?

Ask anyone!

Pretty much every online marketer that I have had communication with, or whose books I have read all say the same thing. There are 3 things you need to do to be successful online

I think that you get the idea.

The reason for building a list is so that you have someone who is immediately accessible to advertise your new opportunities or programs or ebooks or whatever. I am sure that you have heard the stories about the 'Guru's' who claimed that they could make $10,000 with a single email, and then proved that they could do just that. Well there is no mystery really, if you think about it. If you had a list of 100,000 subscribers, there is a good chance that YOU could make $10,000 with a single email too.

But how?

Well that's the great question.

I'll tell you how I go about it.

The first thing is to offer people something in return for their email address. I have offered people ebooks, and software and yes it does work. But, remember that there is a difference between having ANY 100,000 names in your list and 100,000 names of people who trust you. In fact, I would rather have a list of 1000 people who trust me then 100,000 who don't know me any day of the week.

Remember this.

If you build up trust and confidence, and are honest with your list, they will read what you send them and give your offers fair consideration.

Please refer to the Contact List Builder , which is a free ebook, devoted to this subject.

And, I have developed this site. It is full of tutorials and advice, and is free to join.

Now can you see the power of a list? Or to put it better, a GOOD list!

What I give away is an Autoresponder series which explains succinctly, how to go about no cost and low cost marketing. I wrote it myself and I keep it updated, and I give the series away so that YOU can use it to. As a series of text based messages, you can customise the links yourself as well.

You can get the series by clicking the link below

mailto:masterseries@listwonder.com

I'll keep you up to date with any changes to the series.

Ok, so now you have a series of messages, so what do you do with them?

Well here is what you should do.

  1. The first thing that you need to do is to create an Autoresponder to deliver your messages. If you haven't done so yet, join The Money Hub as a free member and get your free Autoresponder. Click on this link to get a tutorial on setting up your Responder at the Money Hub. (If you are a member of Pro Money Matrix, then follow this link).
  2. Load the messages that you have received from the link above into your Autoresponder. Click on this link for a tutorial on doing that. I personally allow the messages to be delivered 1 day apart, but you can change that as you feel fit. Please remember to change any links that you are a member of so that you get credit for people joining under you. If you are not a member of a particular program, then leave the link as it stands.

Remember to save the messages at the bottom of the screen, before you leave, or your work will be lost.

The messages have all been spell checked and formatted so that they wrap nicely in an email message.

The next thing that you will have to do, is present this series of email messages to your prospects. The traditional way of doing this, is via a form on a website. Here is a link to one of the sites that I use to fulfill this purpose.

Lead Capture. In order to create this kind of web site, you will need your own web space, you will need some appropriate graphics for the site and you will need a form to collect your prospects data.

You can create a form easily enough from within your Autoresponder. Follow this link for a short tutorial on doing this.

If you are a Pro member of the Money Hub (or Pro Money Matrix), then you have web space as part of your membership. You will also have access to some good quality graphics that you can use for banners and such on your landing page.

If you don't have a pro membership at either The Money Hub or Pro Money Matrix, and don't intend to get one, but would still like professional web hosting, I would recommend Kiosk. They offer professional, top quality hosting at a reasonable price. What is particularly good is that you get FFA leads, Autoresponders and Ad Tracking bundled in too.

Having a form on a web site is the best way to do this. It also enables you to place your site in rotators and in surf exchange programs. But if you do not want your own site, or simply cannot afford one, this technique for list building can still work for you.

All you need to do is to include your Autoresponder email address in your adverts instead of a web site url. This will register an entry in your Autoresponder every time someone clicks the link, and it avoids your prospects having to fill out a form. You won't be able to track the links either, but as always, there are trade offs for having to do things whilst watching your wallet.
